How do I make a reservation?

Do you accept credit cards?

YES – We accept Mastercard, Visa or Amex when you reserve your vehicle.

Do I need a major credit card to rent a car?

YES

Can I rent a car if I’m younger than 21?

NO – Please refer to our rental agreement.  State law requires a driver to be 21 yrs of age or older. You can also visit the County of Maui’s driver information site.

Does any surcharge apply if I am younger than 25?

YES – There is a $5 per day charge if you are younger than 25.

Is an international driving license required?

NO – You can review our full Rental Agreement here.

Is personal collision insurance required?

NO

Is there an extra charge for insurance?

Only if you choose to buy CDW, that is $10 per day

Is there an extra charge for additional driver(s)?

NO – there is no additional charge for drivers. Please visit Add Driver form page to add a driver.

Do I need to pay before my arrival ?

NO, but you need to call with your credit card number before your arrival, although your card will be charged at your arrival

What if I get to the rental car earlier or later than my originally stated time?

Generally, your rental will be disinfected and ready to go even if your flight arrives earlier or later than anticipated. If there is an issue, an on-site rental expert will be able to get your rental needs met.

What precautions are being taken to ensure the car is thoroughly disinfected?

At Manaloha, we thoroughly clean each rental between guests. We wipe down all interior surfaces of the vehicle with medical-grade disinfectant. Exteriors, including door handles and trunk latches, are disinfected and washed after each customer. We ask that you are masked upon drop-off to ensure other customers and staff’s safety. Should you have any concerns, please let us know — we are happy to help!

Are you located at the airport?

No

Do you do airport pick up?

YES, we do have 24/7 airport parking pick up and drop off, you will pay a Max of $24 for parking fee when you pick up your car, and $24 for the airport Drop Off.

Can I upgrade during the rental period?

YES, depends on availability

Can I rent roof racks?

They will be given to you at no extra charge

What is your cancellation policy?

– Over 48 hrs notice: No cancellation fees – Less than 48 hrs notice: $80 cancellation fee/* – No notice: $100 cancellation fee *If you cancel within 48 hours before your arrival, an $80 charge will be applied to your credit card.

What is your no refund policy?

Our rentals are charged at an inexpensive week-long rental rate even if you choose to only rent for a few days. There are no refunds for rental time not used as part of the original reservations. Guests may return the vehicle at any time during their rental time period at no extra cost.
